So, realistically, I know that if anyone even reads my blog, it's probably going to be people who already know all about us. But, just for the fun of it, I am going to introduce us anyway. Maybe those who haven't seen us for a long time will learn something new. :)
First off, there's me, Mama Extraordinaire. (HA!) In my former life, I was a social worker and worked as an adoption worker in Children's Services. I have been at home with my boys since my oldest was born, and I love being home with them, even when I'm going crazy! After a couple of years of running a dayhome, I have decided to return to being "just" a stay-at-home mom. I am excited about being able to focus on my boys and I'm looking forward to being able to volunteer at their schools, go on field trips, and work on becomming a more present, intentional mother. If I ever had spare time, I enjoy scrapbooking and stamping, cake decorating, and reading. I might have more spare time, if I spent less time on Facebook! Sigh! In the future, once we are well on our way on this new journey we are embarking on, I hope to become a doula.
Then there is my husband. I haven't come up with a nickname for him yet. He loves us fiercely and works hard to provide for us.
And our boys! C-Biggity is 6. He is excited to start grade 1 this year. He is very busy and active, but can sit for hours making Lego creations or playing with cars. He is very imaginative and loves to regale us with his stories. He's never met a stranger and will share his enthusiasm for life with anyone who will listen! I love that even at 6, he is still cuddly and affectionate and not embarassed to hold my hand in public yet!
Z-Diggity is almost 5. He is sweet, shy, silly, and smart as can be! He loves to make people laugh. He is very interested in animals and would have us at the zoo every day if he could! He says he would like to be a zookeeper when he grows up. He also wants to be the mayor of Calgary, from his home in Switzerland! :) Hey, who knows, he might do a great job! He's not much for social gatherings, but he loves his brothers, especially the younger one!
And then there's A-Ziggity, my baby who is not so much a baby anymore. He adores his big brothers and wants to do everything they do! He's a little daredevil - climbing anything he can find to climb, walking up the stair railing instead of the stairs, and generally trying to give Mommy a heart attack! He is snuggly and affectionate and has a very contagious laugh. He's my little goofball! He can get a smile out of just about anyone!
So that's us . Hang around and get to know us better! =)

Blogging, take 2
A few years back, I thought I would try out the world of blogging. With 2 little boys at the time, I wasn't very consistent and eventually gave up altogether. I now have 3 boys and even less time! However, a few months ago, our middle son was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. It has been a lot to wrap our heads around, so I decided to start blogging again to help me process things and to chronicle our journey. Hopefully I can encourage other parents once in awhile along the way as well!
